  5. ║  This disk contains a powerful duo of utilities called DIRMAGIC, written    ║
  6. ║  by programming wizard Michael J. Mefford.                                  ║
  7. ║                                                                             ║
  8. ║  Use the COPY *.* command to make a backup copy of all the files.  If you   ║
  9. ║  want to boot from this disk, use the SYS command to put the DOS files on   ║
  10. ║  it, then copy COMMAND.COM onto it.  (See "SYS" in your DOS manual.)        ║
  11. ║                                                                             ║
  12. ║  To install DIRMAGIC, just type DINSTALL and follow the directions.  This   ║
  13. ║  lets you change the colors and many of the other important settings.  To   ║
  14. ║  read the manual, enter DIRMAGIC and then use the down-arrow key to move    ║
  15. ║  the highlighted bar to the MANUAL entry.  Press the Enter key to view the  ║
  16. ║  manual's index, and use the arrow keys and PgUp / PgDn keys to browse      ║
  17. ║  through it.  You can print out the manual by typing PRMANUAL.              ║
  18. ║                                                                             ║
  19. ║  Important: If you have a hard disk, make sure both DIRMAGIC.COM and DM.COM ║
  20. ║  are in a directory that your PATH knows about!  Start it by typing DM /G   ║
  21. ║  then move the highlighted bar to any subdirectory and press F10.           ║
